A new pop-up shop concept I came up with. The event took place on May 9 to 11, 2013 at DIFC, Dubia.
The word "Cover",
in its literal form, is the existence of something that is used to protect or conceal
another. Cover in this context is the ideal word to describe that of which
modestly provides a woman with the means to remain concealed while
maintaining her elegance and beauty. The word "Cover" perfectly
illustrates the meaning behind the brand/concept as it provides the audience a
glimpse of what the pop-up shop entails and builds a thrilling expectation and
mystique to what lies behind the single monotonous word.
Cover, a brand new Abaya concept
pop-up shop, featured 6 talented Abaya Designers from the UAE for three days. The designers displayed their Abayas for sale, providing the public an opportunity to
purchase and delve deeper into the world of these garments. The
pop-up shop will showcased one Abaya from each designer in an artistic photographic manner accompanied by personal message that allowed people to enjoy an experience rather than a mere selling/buying atmosphere. The pop-up shop aims to create a
whole new concept of "Abaya shopping,” turning it into something of an
art, entertainment, and showcase of talent.
